As we embark on this educational journey together, we invite you to become an integral part of the Latin American School Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Our ultimate goal is to continually strive towards making Latin American School an even better educational institute.
By joining the PTA, you become an active participant in shaping the educational landscape at LAS. As a member, you will have the opportunity to:
- Represent Students and Parents: The PTA will serve as a conduit for communication between parents, students, and the school administration. We will actively engage in discussions regarding school decisions and policies, ensuring that the perspectives and voices of our students and parents are well-represented.
- Support Educational and Safety Policies: The PTA will assist students and parents in understanding and adhering to the school’s educational and safety policies and regulations. Together, we will work towards creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
- Organize School-Sponsored Activities: The PTA will actively organize and encourage student and parent participation in various school-sponsored activities throughout the academic year. These may include but are not limited to the Halloween Parade, Day of the Dead celebrations, Christmas Event, New Year Gala, Summer Carnival, and more. These activities are designed to create memorable experiences for our students, fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation.
- Host Informative Seminars: Periodically, the PTA will host seminars during school time, inviting experts to share valuable insights on topics such as cooking, healthcare, and personal interests and hobbies. These seminars provide opportunities for personal growth and enrichment for both parents and students.
By becoming an active member of the PTA, you will contribute to the vibrant and supportive community at Latin American School. Your involvement will create lasting memories for your child and fellow students, while also providing an avenue for personal growth and networking among parents.
