Code of Conduct
At Latin American School, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all members of our community. To foster a positive and harmonious atmosphere, we have established the following Code of Conduct for students, staff, teachers, volunteers, and parents. By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively uphold our core values and promote the well-being of everyone involved.
For Students:

Integrity: Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior in all academic and social interactions.
Responsibility: Take responsibility for one’s own actions, behavior, and learning, while also respecting the rights and property of others.
Safety: Prioritize personal safety and the safety of others, reporting any concerns or potential risks to the appropriate authorities.
For Staff, Teachers, and Volunteers:
Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of professionalism, conducting oneself in a respectful, ethical, and responsible manner.
Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and open communication among colleagues and with other members of the school community.
Commitment to Excellence: Strive for excellence in teaching, administrative duties, and all responsibilities, consistently seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain the privacy of students, staff, and families.
Role Modeling: Serve as positive role models for students, exemplifying the values and behaviors we expect from them.
For Parents:
Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with teachers, staff, and the school administration, actively participating in the educational journey of their children.
Support: Support the school’s policies, programs, and initiatives, fostering a collaborative partnership between home and school.
Respect for Others: Show respect and consideration towards other parents, staff members, and students, creating a supportive and inclusive community.
Attendance and Punctuality: Ensure that students attend school regularly and arrive on time, recognizing the importance of consistent attendance for academic success.
