Insurance Coverage Exclusion Policy – Latin American School
At Latin American School, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors. While we take all necessary precautions to maintain a secure learning environment, it is important to note that the Latin American School does not provide insurance coverage for individuals attending our programs or participating in our activities. Therefore, we kindly request that all students, their parents or guardians, and other participants understand and accept the following policy:
Personal Insurance Responsibility: It is the responsibility of each student, their parents or guardians, and other participants to obtain and maintain appropriate personal insurance coverage. This includes, but is not limited to, health insurance, accident insurance, travel insurance, and any other insurance deemed necessary for participation in the Latin American School’s programs and activities.
Liability and Damages: The Latin American School shall not be held responsible or liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, losses, damages, or expenses incurred by students, parents or guardians, or other participants while on school premises, during off-site activities, or while participating in any school-sponsored events or programs. This includes, but is not limited to, medical expenses, property damage, theft, or any other related incidents.
Assumption of Risk: By participating in the Latin American School’s programs or activities, students, parents or guardians, and other participants acknowledge and accept any potential risks associated with such participation. This includes, but is not limited to, physical activities, field trips, sports events, or any other activities organized by the Latin American School.
Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Latin American School, its staff, instructors, and volunteers from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from or related to their participation in the school’s programs or activities. This includes, but is not limited to, legal fees, medical expenses, or any other costs incurred as a result of their actions or involvement.
It is strongly advised that all students, parents or guardians, and other participants review their insurance policies and consult with their insurance providers to ensure adequate coverage for their participation in the Latin American School’s programs and activities.
By enrolling or participating in any program or activity offered by the Latin American School, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this insurance coverage exclusion policy. The Latin American School shall not assume any responsibility for any uninsured losses, damages, or expenses incurred during participation in its programs or activities.
